What is an Intermediate Vape Kit and how to choose one?

An Intermediate Vape Kit is a step up from beginner kits, offering a little more complexity and flexibility in terms of customisation. These kits typically have adjustable settings like control over temperature, wattage or airflow.

When choosing an intermediate kit, it's important to consider your vaping habits. Think about the level of performance you want, whether you prefer direct-to-lung or mouth-to-lung inhales, and the type of e-liquids you enjoy. Don't forget to think about the device’s battery life as well.

What are the key features?

  • Adjustable wattage and airflow for a personalised experience.
  • Compatibility with a variety of e-liquid flavours and VG/PG ratios.
  • Enhanced battery life for longer vaping sessions.
  • Sub-ohm tanks for increased vapour production and flavour.

What should an Intermediate Kit include?

This kit should include several key components:

  • Mod: This is the main body of the device which holds the battery and the chipset allowing you to control the settings.

  • Tank: It holds the e-liquid and usually accommodates replaceable coil heads.

  • Coils: They are usually included with the tank in the kit. They are used to heat the e-liquid and produce vapour. They also come in different resistances, suitable for different styles of vaping.

  • Drip Tip: This is the mouthpiece you inhale vapour from. Some kits will include more than one, for different styles of vaping.

  • USB charger cable: Necessary to charge your device.

  • Optional extras: Some kits may also include spare glass for the tank, extra O-rings, or additional coils of different resistances.
